The greenhouse is finally thawing out! This week the dirt has finally become more than a block of ice! It has been getting into the low 40's every day for a week straight now. I can't wait to start some serious planting. I need to find my garden claw... that seems to be the best tool for turning the dirt in my raised garden beds. It will still be 2 months before I can plant anything in them, but I have a lot of prep-work to keep me busy in the mean time... once the snow is gone! On the plus side, we are getting a very light dusting of ash from Mt. Redoubt erupting, and that should be great for the soil!
