The first Lily is up this morning! Its about 3 inches out of the ground already! I don't think I have blogged about this yet, but I am 6 months pregnant with a baby girl, and her name is Lily, so these particular flowers are significant to me this year. We planted 4 different kinds, 2 asiatic and 2 oriental, and this being Alaska, only the asiatic will return next year, but we will enjoy all of them this summer! Hopefully we have a good season this year... last year I don't think it ever got to 70 degrees F outside!
