So, I confirmed that I have slugs in the raised bed I plan on using for the spinach and kale. Last year there were a few times when something squished under my fingernails in that bed and I thought that slugs might be the offenders, but I never confirmed it until now. I'm gonna try the beer in a shallow pan idea, hopefully that will solve the problem, and hopefully, this is the only bed that has them... I'm not gonna hold my breath on that one though!
